SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kyin, Mon, Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C to 4°C below February average temperatures in Kachin and Rakhine States, 2°C below February average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Chin State and 2°C above February average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.6°C in Hakha, 4.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.5°C in Tiddim, 5.4°C in Heho, 5.5°C in Mongyang, 7.3°C in Putao, 7.7°C in Myitkyina, 9.0°C in Loilin, 9.5°C each in Pyinoolwin and Pinlaung and 10.0°C each in Gangaw and Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and East central Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th February 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
