27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Mon State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and 3°C below March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 40.8°C in Pyay, 40.5°C in Chauk, 40.0°C in Taunggu, 39.6°C in Magway, 39.3°C each in Bago, Aunglan and Hpa-an, 39.2°C each in Yamethin, Shwekyin and Myawaddy and 39.1°C in Tatkon on 12-3-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.59 inch in Kawthaung, 0.24 inch in Machanbaw, 0.16 inch each in Hkamti and Putao and 0.08 inch in Myeik.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th March 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
