28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah, Shan States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C above March average temperature in Kayin State and 2°C below March average temperatures in Kayah, Eastern Shan States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 43.6°C in Minbu, 40.6°C in Chauk, 39.7°C in Nyaung Oo, 39.6°C in Magway, 39.5°C in Sinbyugyun, 39.4°C in Zaung Tu, 39.3°C in Myingyan and 39.2°C each in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), Aunglan, Gangaw, Hpa-an and Myawaddy on 22-3-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.12 inch in Kengtung and 0.04 inch each in Taunggyi and Muse.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th March 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Chin, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
