BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure aera over inland of Myanmar has weakened. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 31st MAY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with regionally heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally Squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 - 12) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
