SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Magway Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mon, Rakhine States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 4.88 inches in Thaton, 4.65 inches in Sittwe, 2.76 inches in Hpa-an(Agro-Met), 2.56 inches in Hpa-an, 2.55 inches in Lemyethna, 2.41 inches in Hinthada, 2.36 inches in Paung, 2.16 inches in Kangyidaunt, 2.13 inches in Putao and 1.85 inches in Nyaunglaybin.

BAYINFERENCE:  According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Land Depression that crossed over the western parts of Jharkhand, India has moved westwards and it continuing to across the Northern parts of Chhattisgarh and adjoining interior region of Jharkhand and it will weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions,  fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 10-14 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain or thundershowers in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
