BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal(South Odisha - North Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha - North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 15th August 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
