BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Features: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the wind wave over the Kayah, Kayin States Myanmar has moved west-northwestwards and crossing over the Bago, Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 1st September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region, Rakhine, Chin States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Shan States.The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas are will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Regionally and Isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.
