SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kayah, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Mon, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Yangon Region. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah, Chin, (Northern and Southern) Shan States, 5°C above November average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 15.0°C in Tiddim, 15.5°C in Pyinoolwin, 15.7°C in Loilin, 17.0°C in Pinlaung and 17.9°C in Taunggyi. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 5.20 inches in Thayet, 5.00 inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), 4.06 inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), 3.78 inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), 2.80 inches each in Taungdwinggyi and Hpa-an, 2.70 inches in Kyaiklat, 2.64 inches in Magway, 2.56 inches in Kawkareik, 2.52 inches in Hlegu and 2.40 inches in Minbu.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining near Deltic coast, Myanmar. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts and adjoining Deltic coasts. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Magway Regions and Rakhine State. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
