SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated in Mon, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon States, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, Northern Shan States, 5°C above November average temperatures in Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 12.6°C in Hakha, 15.4°C in Loilin, 15.5°C in Homalin, 17.0°C in Taunggyi, 17.2°C Pinlaung , 17.7°C in Pyinoolwin, 17.8°C in Namsan(Southern Shan) and 18.0°C in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.24 inches in Kawthaung, 2.17 inches in Kyeikkhame, 1.81 inches in Phyarpon, 1.50 inches in Hmawbi, 1.36 inches in Dedaye, 1.00 inches in Kyaiklat, 0.59 inch each in Zalun and Monyin, 0.51 inch in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri) and 0.49 inch in Kalaw.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Land Depression over the boundary areas of Loas and Thailand has moved Westwards still persists. It is forecast to downgrade over the Eastern Thailand as Low Pressure Area.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
