SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain has been scattered in Eastern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway Regions and Kayah, Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below December average temperature in Bago Region, 3°C above December average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.4°C in Hakha, 4.2°C in Putao, 4.7°C in Loilin, 5.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.0°C each in Tiddim and Pinlaung, 6.6°C in Machanbaw, 6.7°C in Heho, 8.0°C in Mongyang and 8.3°C in Naungcho. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls recorded were 0.07 inch in Tachileik and 0.04 inch in Kengtung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Westcentral Bay and South Bay and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th December 2025: Rain are likely to be isolated light rain in Eastern Shan State. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
