SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, light rain have been isolated in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Ragion, 2°C above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, 3°C to 4°C above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan State, 5°C to 6°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.5°C in Hakha, 6.0°C in Tiddim, 7.4°C in Putao, 8.5°C in Mohnyin, 8.9°C in Hsipaw, 9.0°C in Mongyang, 9.5°C in Loilin, 9.7°C in Lashio, 10.0°C each in Myitkyina and Manaung and 10.1°C in Hkamti. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls recorded was 0.08 inch in Yamethin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Southeast Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
