BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th January 2026: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
