BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Magway Region, Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 12) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts, (4 - 7) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
