BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea, a few cloud over the North Bay and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 12th March 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States.
