26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Kachin and (Northern & Southern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Yangon Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Coco Island (9.61) inches, Gwa (4.49)inches, Maungdaw (4.13)inches, Hkamti (3.50)inches, Ngathaichaung (2.95) inches, Belin (2.91) inches, Dawei (2.87)inches, Kyauktaw (2.80)inches, Pathein (2.75)inches and Homalin (2.59)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
