BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and crossed North Odisha (India) and West Bengal coasts near Balasore. Monsoon is moderte to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8thAUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay Region and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 8)feet off and along myamar coasts.
