BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 11thAUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region and Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h.
