SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, scattered in Chin and Rakhine States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions with isolated heavy falls in Magway Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Gangaw (2.33)inches, Coco Island (1.58)inches, Naungcho (1.14)inches, Tagaung (1.02)inches, Kawthaung (0.56)inch and Ann (0.24)inch.  

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Shan State, scattered in Bago Region and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State.
