SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Yangon Region, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Shan and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Hakha, (9°C) each in Pinlaung, Heho and Loilin and (10°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Putao (0.12)inch and Machanbaw (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka and Equatorial Indian Ocean now lies over Comorin area and adjoining Sri Lanka and Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
