25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States, (2°C) above February average temperature in Taninthayi Region and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Thipaw, (3°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Ramthlo, (4°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang, (5°C) each in Lashio and Pinlaung. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Kawthaung (0.08) inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th February, 2019: Light rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
