23-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea and East central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 10th February, 2019: Rain will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State, generally fair inMandalay, Magway Regions, Shan, Kayin and Mon States and fair weather in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (1-3) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
