SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (3°C) above February average temperature in Chin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Thipaw, (6°C) in Namsam and (7°C) each in Heho, Loilin and Mongyang.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd February, 2019: Light rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, (Northern) Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts and (2 - 4) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
