25-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 26th February, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi  Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Northern Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated to scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
