25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower  Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March normal temperatures in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kayah and Mon States and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (41°C) each in Aunglan and Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Nyaungoo, Naypyitaw(Zayyarthiri), Minbu, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu and Phyu.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North and Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States.
