25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Chin State and isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were(2°C) above April normal temperatures in Taninthayi Region, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) below April normal temperature in Northern Shan State and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States.The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Magway and Bawlakhae, (41°C) each in Myingyan, NyaungOo, Minbu, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun and Taunggu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Monyin (1.54)inches, Ramthlo (1.26)inches, Katha (1.10)inch, Falam and Tiddim (0.71)inch, Monywa (0.55)inch, Hakha (0.51)inch, Kanbalu (0.47)inch, Monywa(Kyemone) and Muse (0.39)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, isolated in Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
