24-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) above April normal temperatures in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin State and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (43°C) in Bawlakhae and (42°C) each in Myinmu, Nyaung Oo, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Pauk, Sinbyugyun, Gyobingauk and Yangon (Mingaladon).
 
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
 
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
 
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 
 
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State.
