27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan State, scattered in Sagaing, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw, Rakhine and Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) above May normal temperatures in (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States, (3°C) to (4°C) above May normal temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan, Kayah and Kayin States, (2°C) above May normal temperatures in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and about May normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk, (44°C) each in Nyaung Oo and Taunggu, (43°C) each in Myinmu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Pyinoolwin (1.18) inches, Hinthada (1.02)inches, Phyarpon (0.91)inch,  Ramthlo (0.67)inch, Coco Island and Ngathaichaung (0.59)inch each, Nyaung Shwe (0.51)inch and Tada U (0.47) inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI" has crossed to the ODISHA Coast near Puri(India), lies at about (10) miles North of Puri(India). It is forecast to move North-Northeastwards over ODISHA Coast. Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and West central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th May, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40-45)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagiang Region, Kachin and Chin States.
