30-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mon State and isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Paung (5.20)inches, Kawkareik (3.54)inches, Mudon (3.03)inches, Kyeikmaway (2.99)inches, Thaton (2.60)inches, Shwebo (2.56)inches,  Singu(Agro-met) (2.50)inches, Yay  (2.16)inches and Mawlamyine (2.04)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East Central Bay of Bengal and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mon State.
