26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State, scattered in Southern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Tada U (6.45)inches, Singaing (4.98)inches, Patheingyi(Shwesayan) (4.32)inches, Central Yangon (4.21)inches, Lunkyaw (3.70)inches, Kyaukse (3.50)inches,  Amarapura (2.78)inches, Maubin (2.60)inches, Meiktila (2.52)inches, Myinmu and Myitha (2.36)inches each, Labutta (2.32)inches, Monywa (2.20)inches, Hlaingtat and phyarpon (2.08)inches each and Myaungmya (1.97)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Likelihood of advancement of Southwest Monsoon into the Central Myanmar areas.
