BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 9th June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin, Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 9)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 -6)feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
