30-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Eastern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mon State, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavy falls in Southern Shan State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Launglon (3.54)inches, Myeik (3.15)inches, Taunggyi (3.11) inches, Dawei (3.03)inches, Maungdaw (2.76)inches, Ngathaichaung (1.85)inches, Shwekyin (1.50)inches, Kawthaung (1.42) inches, Manaung (1.34)inches and Coco Island (1.30)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and  Mandalay Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
