10-1-2026 According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Northeast Sri Lanka Coast) has moved West-Northwestwards and starts crossing North Sri Lanka coast between Trincomalee and Jaffna as a land depression. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards. Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
