BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Northeast Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 21st June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Shan and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States . Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 -11)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (6-8)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
