28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal now lies over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining  West Bengal Coast still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 22nd June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread inTaninthayi Region and Rakhine States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady  Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:   Moderate to rough sea. Wave height will be about (6 -9)feet  off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:   Weak to moderate Monsoon.
