30-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 16th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, (Northern and Southern) Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:  Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
