30-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts. It is centered at about 775 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 85 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 135 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move nearly Northwards parallel to Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East central Bay and moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region,  Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing ,Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5 – 7)feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
