1-12-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated  in Magway Region, scattered in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kachin and Kayin States and isolated heavyfall in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kyaukpyu (5.28)inches, Shan-Ywar-Thit (4.99)inches, Mogaung (4.65)inches, Monyin (4.53)inches, Kamamaung (4.21)inches, Hlaingbwe (3.50)inches, Hpa-an(Agro) (3.07)inches, Kataingti (3.04)inches, Thandaunggyi (2.56)inches, Myitkyina (2.33)inches, Paing Kyone (2.25)inches, Ann and Mudon (2.16)inches each and Theinzayet (2.13)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kayah State  and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.  STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7– 9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
