1-12-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere in Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 01st July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and  Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, Deltaic, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 – 10) feet in Gulf of Mottama, Deltaic, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (6-8) feet in off and along Rakhine coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
