30-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespred  in (Northern and Southern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region, Rakhine and Kayin States and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi and Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Labutta (6.69)inches, Hainggyigyun (4.61)inches, Manugdaw (4.09)inches, Manaung (3.66)inches, Hpa-an(Agro-Met) (3.11)inches, Hlaingbwe (3.07)inches, Kawthaung (3.03)inches, Paing Kyone (2.96)inches, Myaungmya (2.91)inches, Myeik (2.80)inches, Pathein (2.76)inches, Maubin (2.72) inches, Mawlamyine (2.68)inches, Sittwe (2.64)inches, Gwa (2.60)inches, Phyarpon (2.56)inches and Sinbyugyun, Zaung Tu and Chaungsone (2.48)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th August, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 –11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
