BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th August, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered inMagway Region,fairly widespread in Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at time Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35 -40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 –10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (6 –9) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
