SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin State, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfall in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Chaungsone (10.51)inches, Mudon (7.01)inches, Mawlamyine (6.85)inches, Kyeikmayaw (6.61)inches, Kya-In-Seikkyi (4.60)inches, Kyeikdon (4.52)inches, Kawkareik (3.62)inches, Kyauktaw (3.39)inches, Sittwe (3.31)inches, Taungkok (2.95)inches, Htilin (2.91)inches, Myeik (2.84)inches, Thaton (2.79)inches, Kyaukphyu (2.71)inches, Naypyitaw (Datkhinathiri) and Paung (2.68)inches each, Hpapun (2.52)inches and Paletwa (2.40)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
