1-12-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Magway Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon Region, (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay and Bago Regions, Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Dawei (4.61) inches, Launglon  (4.13)inches,  Manaung (3.23)inches, Shwekyin (3.07)inches, Nyaunglaybin (3.00)inches, Madauk (2.87)inches, Coco Island (2.71)inches, Kya-In-Seikkyi (2.65)inches, Hlaingbwe (2.64)inches, Shwegwun (2.56)inches, Hainggyigyun (2.48)inches, Okkan, Kamamaung and Thaton (2.36) inches each, Taungkok (2.32)inches, Belin (2.28)inches, Hpa-an (Agro-Met) (2.24)inches, Thabeikkyin and Myeik (2.20) inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northweast Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha-West Bengal Coasts (India) still persists. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURE CONDITION: According to the observation (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the yesterday’s the tropical storm “Kajiki” over the South China Sea has weaken into a low pressure area.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 –13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
