BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, scattered in Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6–9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about ( 4–6) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.
