SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in Magway Region, Chin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kawthaung (1.97)inches, Kyauktaw (1.77)inches, Hpa-an and Hlaingbwe (1.42)inches each, Gyobingauk (1.37)inches, Dawei (1.30)inches, Thazi(Agro) (1.26)inches, Yamethin and Myeik (1.11)inches each and Pyinoolwin (1.03)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago and Yangon Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4–7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Central Myanmar areas.
