SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the whole country. Weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin and Northern Shan States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Nyapyitaw and Chin State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Eastern Shan and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Naypyitaw (Otarathri) (2.60)inches, Bawlakhae (1.38)inches, Naypyitaw (Zabuthiri), Taunggu(Aviation) and Loikaw (1.22) inches each, Taungkok (1.14)inches and Taungdwingyi (1.07)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
