SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Tagaung (Agro-met) (5.23)inches, Kanbalu (3.07)inches, Mogoke (0.99)inch, Bhamo (0.94)inch, Mingin (0.87)inch, Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri) (0.67)inch, Paletwa (0.63)inch, Ann and Myauk U (0.55)inch each and Namsam, Naypyitaw (Zayarthiri), Taungkok and Launglon (0.43)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd October, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin state, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
