SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Patheingyi(Shwesayan) (5.69)inches, Kalewa (3.78)inches, Kani (3.62)inches, Singaing (3.48)inches, Amarapura (2.58)inches, Thazi (2.48)inches, Wundwin (1.91)inches, Madaya (1.89)inches, Okpho (1.80)inches, Tada U(Aviation Met) (1.69)inches, Hlaingtat (1.65)inches, Kyaukse and Hinthada (1.58)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th October, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Southern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
