SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (4°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk and Taungdwingyi and (39°C) each in Yamethin, Tada U(Avia), Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Pyinmana, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu, Shwekyin, Nyaunglaybin, Khayan and Myawaddy.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th March 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions.
