SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Bago Region and Eastern Shan State and isolated in Yangon Region and Southern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above April average temperatures in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Mon States and 2°C above April average temperatures in Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 42°C each in Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Ann, Hinthada and Myawaddy. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were 0.08 inch each in Minesat and Khayan.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th APRIL 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Southern Shan State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
