30-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 31st July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady Region and Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay,  Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
